Lebanese Army dismantles two unexploded aircraft bombs in south Lebanon

Photos released Oct. 17, 2026 by the Lebanese Army. The army says a specialised unit dismantled two unexploded aircraft bombs, which it calls remnants of Israeli aggression, in the towns of Kfra (Bint Jbeil district) and Toulin (Marjayoun district) and moved them to a safe site. The two photos show a soldier in a blast helmet working on a large bomb casing on a rocky track, and a second casing lying in leaf litter under trees. The army asked residents to report any suspicious object to the nearest military post.
