Video released Oct. 18, 2026 by Türkiye's Ministry of National Defence. The ministry says the Nusret-2026 invitational exercise, hosted by the Turkish Naval Forces Command, was carried out Oct. 6-16 in the Gulf of İzmir and off Karadeniz Ereğli with Turkish Navy units and units from friendly and allied countries. NATO Maritime Command posted on Oct. 19 that NUSRET 'is underway', describing mine-warfare training with Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 2 and forces from 26 nations. The 1-minute 54-second montage shows warships in formation, a helicopter low over the sea, water columns from underwater detonations and observers aboard a ship.
