Photos posted Oct. 18, 2026 by the U.S. Marine Corps. The captions say Marines with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, took part in a raid leaders course at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, on Oct. 7 and Oct. 9, 2026, which the Marine Corps says helps small-unit leaders improve close-quarters battle tactics to teach their own Marines for urban environments. One photo shows a squad leader in a night-vision helmet under red light; the other shows a Marine throwing a chem-light during a simulated raid.
