Video posted Oct. 17, 2026 by U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Air and Marine Operations (AMO) as a farewell to its P-3 Airborne Early Warning (AEW) aircraft, known to crews as the 'Dome'. The 42-second clip shows personnel on work stands at the 'Air and Marine Operations' lettering on a P-3 fuselage inside a hangar, then a P-3 AEW with its rotodome in flight, ending with the captions 'Decades of Service' and 'A Lasting Legacy'. In an Oct. 6 release CBP said its last P-3 AEW made its final operational flight on Sept. 30, 2026 at NASOC Jacksonville, after decades of wide-area surveillance over the Caribbean, the Gulf of America and Central and South American transit zones in support of partners including Joint Interagency Task Force South.
