Photo released by Argentina's Gendarmería Nacional on Oct. 15, 2026. Gendarmería says officers of Escuadrón 22 'San Antonio de los Cobres', acting on a tip from its La Quiaca criminal intelligence unit, stopped a Ford EcoSport carrying two men from Jujuy and found hidden compartments under the seats and trunk floor. It says 34 packages tested positive for cocaine, weighing 35.18 kg, plus 155 g of marijuana, and that Salta's federal prosecutor ordered both men detained.
