Video released Oct. 19, 2026 by Colombia's Ministry of Defence and the Policía Nacional. The ministry says the police anti-narcotics directorate seized about 7 tonnes of cocaine hydrochloride at the port of Cartagena, mixed with powdered panela (unrefined cane sugar) in 900 cargo boxes; the police put it at 7.6 tonnes and call it the largest seizure at the port in 10 years. The 53-second video shows rows of sacks in a warehouse, officers opening boxes of green packets and on-screen text citing a 70.08% cocaine concentration found by forensic testing. The government values the hit to criminal finances at more than 42,000 million pesos and 19 million doses.
