Photos released Oct. 19, 2026 by the South African Police Service. SAPS says its Anti-Gang Unit, acting on intelligence after a fatal shooting in Bonteheuwel on Oct. 11, arrested a 33-year-old gang-affiliated man for murder on Oct. 17, then found three firearms and 18 rounds of ammunition on two other streets and arrested two men, aged 28 and 47, for unlicensed possession. The release photos show handguns, including two revolvers, laid out with ammunition. Charges are allegations; SAPS said the three were due in Bishop Lavis Magistrate's Court on Oct. 19.
