As stated
As stated by Japan's Ministry of Defense on 12 October 2026, at least two ballistic missiles were launched from North Korea toward the northeast and east; no entry into Japanese territory or its EEZ was confirmed. Yonhap, citing the ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff, reported a 9:20 a.m. detection from the Pyongyang area and that at least one flew over 900 km toward the East Sea. The arc marks those named areas, not a track.
